The world is dying. A surreal cataclysm caused by forces beyond this universe has shattered the veil. Altera, the Creator, sacrificed herself in a last ditch effort to stave off the encroaching dark. What's left of reality is protected by a single barrier kept up by fragile anchors. The children of Altera are left alone and broken amidst living nightmares.

But still they fight. Some against each other, most against the world, and all against their fate.
